4 metres in front of our unit (on the pavement) are about 4 small trees. One of which we are told is an African Tulip and apparently when it is in flower all the parrots just love it. So much so that they over indulge and get rather drunk! Our neighbours tell us that they quite frequently have to pick up the dear birds and safely deposit them away from the road. One afternoon we were out on the balcony and these 2 gorgeous black cockatoos flew by and settled in our tree. By the time we grabbed the camera they were close to flying off. We got this photo just before they disppeared.
