Biltong, Braai vleis, Sunny skies, and Chevrolets

Ok I don't think they make Chevrolets anymore?
From the old South African advert to the new Queensland advert! Apparently our overseas ad has caused a bit of stir with the logo "so where the bloody hell are you" - I really do think it's quite succinct!

I just had to share a couple of photo's of the most gorgeous winters day we had on Sunday.

After the girls went off on their ride, Rob and I joined some friends for brunch and then headed off to the Point.
It's a beautiful lookout spot on the border between Queensland and New South Wales. What a spectacular day!
Of course I did mention to a few friends that we are not allowed to like it down the south coast that much as our unit is on the north coast! But I do hope that the photo's will encourage you to visit us!

The small city in backdrop of the one photo is Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast.
The Queensland side of the point is Coolangatta and the New South Wales side is Tweed Heads. Coolangatta beach is our favourite south coast beach.
